Green Pools and Elephant Rocks

Right next to the Green Pools and within walking distance, you will discover the most fascinating rock forms. Elephant Rocks, as they are called, really look exactly like a herd of elephants retreating into the water. And from whatever angle you look at these, they still look exactly like elephants! Hence the name.

Winery Restaurants

Denmark has a great choice of secluded cottage and villa accommodation, so if you like immersing yourself in natural surroundings, I’d definitely count on having a 2-night stay here. Try to get the locals to recommend a really nice place to eat. They helped us find the Lake House Winery Restaurant, where we were served the most sumptuous lunch platter. Our eyes almost popped out when it was delivered to our table full of artisan treats. It was great value for money and the best quality platter we have ever had. It is one those experiences that you remember forever!
