Dive Tutukaka has the largest dedicated dive charter fleet in New Zealand. The vessels are purpose designed with all safety and oxygen equipment.Crew are fully qualified. The vessels have enclosed cabins, toilets and storage room for the personal equipment of visitors.
Divers are taken from the mainland New Zealand, to the popular diving area of the Poor Knights Islands, an area influenced by warmer currents. Visibility is also greater than in nearby coastal waters. Tropical and subtropical life forms are in abundance here.Between the dives there are hot drinks, hot showers and fresh water rinses for underwater cameras. The boats carry ocean kayaks to enable visitors to explore the islands' fascinating archways and tunnels on the surface.
