Claremont is close to award winning wineries and cafes and part of the Alpine Pacific Triangle scenic drive providing access to whale watching at Kaikoura and thermal pools at Hanmer Springs .From your base at Claremont you can easily access wine and food tours, spa treatments, guided fishing, horse riding and enjoy a guided 4WD drive trip around the estate which is rich in geological history.
