Black Cat Group cruises the scenic harbours of Akaroa and Lyttelton daily, offering an unforgettable view of the wildlife as well as the many historical highlights in the area.
- Swim with the dolphins in Akaroa harbour, wetsuits, snorkels and masks are provided and your experienced guides give you instruction on how to interact with the dolphins. This tour is suitable for children who are confident swimmers. The 2 hour cruise includes around an hour in the water with dolphins.
- Two hour Akaroa Harbour Cruise showcases wildlife as well as sea caves and dramatic cliffs. Akaroa Harbour was a live volcano nine million years ago and many spectacular ancient lava flows can be seen including an amazing pink, purple and red volcanic amphitheatre that will take your breath away. Expect to see wildlife such as Hectors Dolphin, Blue penguins and Fur Seals and also salmon at the Akaroa Salmon farm in Lucas Bay.
