Wharekauhau is a luxury lodge set on 2200 hectares of farmland overlooking the rugged coastline of Palliser Bay on the southern tip of the North Island, providing uninterrupted panoramic ocean views from every guestroom. 

The Edwardian-style main lodge is within walking distance of 12 cottage suites, each comprising a twin/king bedroom, lounge area featuring an open fireplace, walk-in dressing room, ensuite bathroom, mini-bar and fridge.
A full buffet and a la carte cooked breakfast is served in the country kitchen.  Pre-dinner drinks and a four-course table d’hote dinner are included in the tariff and served in the licensed lodge dining room.
