Located on a working deer farm in rural Southland, the Lodge at Tikana provides private accommodation separate from the hosts’ residence.  Built with straw-bale construction, the Lodge features contemporary interiors with inlaid-timber flooring.  The dual-level Lodge is set in a private garden with sundeck overlooking the valley and hills beyond.  The main bedroom and spacious ensuite bathroom are on the mezzanine floor.  The living area downstairs includes a surround-sound home theatre, wine cellar, built-in espresso machine and deli nibbles. 

Meals are served at the Lodge according to guests’ tastes, featuring seasonal produce such as venison, lamb, blue cod, oysters and whitebait.
