Located on 40 hectares set amid wild thyme and schist rock formations, Rocky Range is a custom-built Lodge on the outskirts of Alexandra. Designed in French Provincial style, Rocky Range offers 360-degree views of Central Otago’s rugged beauty. In summer the deep verandahs provide shade, while in winter an open fire in the spacious guest lounge ensures comfort. All four ensuite bedrooms in the Lodge are well appointed, each one planned with individual character. Juliet balconies open from the bedrooms to panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges and river valleys. Rocky Range is a private hideaway, where guests can relax, or use the Lodge as a base to explore the myriad activities that the region offers.
