This is a relaxing, luxurious and spacious room situated in the guest wing of the main house.
The room features a beamed ceiling, Queen bed with superior mattress and linen, large walk-in wardrobes, antique dressing table, stool and bedside cabinets. Guests have their own private entrance for complete privacy. Patio doors open onto a private veranda overlooking a beautiful secluded garden with river views.
Wisteria Room:
The Wisteria Room is a large light luxurious twin room also in the private guest wing.With walk-in wardrobes, beamed ceiling, large twin beds with quality bedding and mattresses, this room is a restful haven after a busy day. It also has its own private entrance.Large patio doors open onto a delightful wide private veranda with its own seating area to enjoy the views and watch the quails and fantails of the area.Views extend over the park like grounds with the Waihou River in the distance.
Garden Cottage:
The Garden Cottage is well equipped with modern conveniences and consists of a two bedroom, detached luxury home situated within secluded sub-tropical gardens With its own private entrance and undercover parking area, The Cottage offers complete privacy and is available on a self-catering basis if required.If preferred, breakfast may be taken poolside, on the terrace or in the main dining room – depending on the season.
The Garden Cottage is very spacious and consists of an expansive lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet, Queen bedroom and twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening onto a private terrace. The views look directly over the lawns and gardens to the swimming pool.
Thorold Country House has a non-smoking policy within the main house, garden cottage and poolside garden.
